It’s About 2 Kids sitting waiting for their Photo Shoot to Start, but, when the photographer is distracted and the brother switches Freestyle’s 1989 track Don’t Stop the Rock, the siblings begin to let their eyebrows start to dance in sync with the music before the girl finishes the by squeaking a balloon.

Now here is where you SERIOUSLY Need to pay Attention:

According to the AD AGENCY that created the  £3.7 million (British Pound) Commercial for the Cadbury Chocolate Giant,

“…, we asked the agency, Fallon, to create another ad that would make people smile and feel good, as if they were opening a chocolate bar and taking that first bite.”

Notice the Commercial DOES NOT Sell Chocoloate Directly to the Viewer…

The Commercial Sells The “GOOD VIBES” The Feeling one would have after Purchasing Cadbury Chocolate. This takes us back to an old addage that says, “When people are buying drills, they are actually looking to make a hole”…

In otherwords, what is the RESULT people are looking for?

And how can you tweek your marketing so that your potential BUYER has a certain Feeling attached to your product?

Also think about this: The MIND and the psychology behind marketing is extremely profound and totally GENIUS in this commercial.

What is going to happen the next time you hear that Catchy little Old Freestyle Tune?

What may you do the next time you go to a party, and see a balloon?

Or even go to a scheduled Family Portrait ?

If you either, hummed to the tune, or played with the balloon, or giggled at the portrait studio, then CADBURY has definitely done it’s job!

Why?

Because all these elements of the commercial have made a lasting impression in your MIND, by giving you a Feeling that you now associate with the Cadbury Chocolate Commercial.

Case in Point: All I have to do is just play a snippet of the song, and my OWN KIDS will make a MAD DASH to my office because they KNOW that I’m playing the commercial on my Computer.

They Associate the Music to the Commercial.

Just as WE associate eating chocolate with Fun and Goodtimes – Make Sense?

By the way, the “Cadbury Eyebrow Kids” Commercial went VIRAL to over 4 Million Views, with Celebrities like KANYE West Posting it to his Blog and Shows and other random people making SPOOFS of this commercial and uploading them to Youtube.

It’s become so incredibly INFECTIOUS that Cadbury has also partnered with mobile operator Orange (also a Fallon client) to give away the commercial’s soundtrack as a mobile ringtone. This was downloaded 125,000 times in the first 11 days.

As a Marketer, MLM or Otherwise, when you can succeed in making your Audience FEEL a connection to YOU… You are one step closer to becoming an Attractive MAGNET that people will be naturally drawn to, and will happily call you with credit card in hand.

This commercial had NOTHING, Absolutely NOTHING to do with chocoloate.

Really THINK About that for a minute.

It had everything to do with making the VIEWER FEEL a certain way.

Making them Smile, Giggle and associate eating Chocolate to those feelings.

Got it?

As a matter of fact, there’s a good chance, that’s exactly how you ended up on my Blog. For all intents and purposes, that’s proof that using Twitter, to develop relationships for marketing and business purposes, absolutely works.

For a little 140 Character Microblogging platform, Twitter sure packs a punch. I mean, there are atleast 50+ tools that I know of that were created to enhance your Twitter Experience, making this particular Social Media Platform one of the Hottest Trend in 2009.

Branching into Mainstream, meaning, it’s even getting mentioned on TV, Twitter is THE place for Small Business Owners, Network Marketers and MLMers to engage with a multitude of folks who share common interests.

Ahhh, but there’s always a better way to do anything in life, and if you have caught the “Twitter Bug” like me, you’re probably looking for a way to streamline, enhance, and get the MOST of your Twitter Marketing Efforts.

Tweetdeck, is an Adobe Air Platform, which in it’s simple yet sophisticated format, gives you more power to streamline the way you use Twitter.

One of the most difficult challenges I faced as a marketer was to not take things personally. As a Network Marketer, You’ve heard it a Million times,

“The Money is in the List”

And that’s The Truth. Any Marketer with Half a Brain and some common sense, knows you need a List.

Without one, you have no Business, Period.

But how do you generate a List the size of a small country so that you can literally command money to you at Will?

Let’s Face it, there are many ways to drive traffic to your site, but Using Solo Ad Ezine Advertising is one the Most Powerful strategies of them all.

I’d been pretty shy about using this particular strategy for a while just because I knew that there had to be a few moving parts working together in order for it to work and I’ll admit, I was pretty intimidated because I didn’t want to go broke testing ads.

If you haven’t figured it out already, as a marketer, you must test, test, test and then test again.

Thankfully, the system I use to track my marketing efforts is built-in to my Generically Branded Marketing Funnel,  so I know exactly what’s working and what isn’t.

It’s 10pm on a Friday Night and Sally calls you because she can’t get her autoresponder going.

So since Sally is in your downline, and you can see the dollar signs in your head from the amount of money you figure she’s worth to you, you cave in, and hold her hand through the whole process and get her Autoresponder going.

It’s Sunday 3:15pm, and you’re out having lunch with the family, and Joey calls in the middle of the bite of your 7 layer burrito, to ask you if you can direct him to where he can find the training regarding the Pay Per Click campaigns to start getting his stuff going, and you scarf down your bite, excuse yourself from the table, tell your family you’ll just be a second, and then go on to find a quiet corner in the restaurant to guide Joey through the process.

Listen, when I first started, and I admit, I am Guilty of  reaching out to my sponsor a little more than I should have just out of Pure Convenience, (and that is a Big No No.)

But the Big Moral of the Story here is that there is a fine line between Leading people on your team, and Enabling them.

When you enable people, which simply means, you are making it easier for them, (usually for fear that they will leave you if you don’t help them,) you are creating a “babysitting” environment and that is no good for them, or for YOU.

I know I’ve hand holded way too much in my time, simply because I thought I was helping people if I did that, and because I felt “sorry” for people because they were new,  but the truth is, I was creating a co-dependency among some of my team members and that’s not what Leaders do.

HOW I SOLVED THE PROBLEM:

First thing I did was to align myself with Sharp Leaders and watched how they handled prospects and team members. Because they didn’t do any handholding, or promised that they would, they simply would not attract people like that. They generally attracted people who were READY to build the business independently.

Second thing I did was Purchase and Listen to a phenomenal Course by Mike Dillard entitled, Black Belt Recruiting. Black Belt Recruiting drills the skills necessary to become the type of Leader who attracts Business Builders, and how to Develop the Posture that will allow you to easily spot and reject prospects that will only waste your time.

As a Mother of 3 Children, as with prospects, sometimes you just have to say NO. It’s not good to recruit everyone, and it’s not good to spoil them and let them know that you will do WHATEVER THEY NEED, and you will be at their BECKON CALL.

Amateurs Sell. Leaders Sort. That is So True…

It actually felt Great to Reject a prospect the other day, after a brief phone call, even though it meant losing a few hundred dollars because the Aggravation that prospect would have created, was not worth the Money I would make from him. (Keep that in Mind!)

Leadership simply means that you provide guidance and direction, and there is nothing wrong with being new, but there are new people who are out there who are willing and able to jump in there no matter what, and do what they have to do.

This is a BUSINESS, and we are big boys and girls.

And if you have a System set up, like the Marketing Super Funnel, where prospects or team members can simply go back, plug in and get to work, there should be no need for hand holding at all.

Personally, my tolerance for baby-sitting has reached it’s limit, and I realized that in order to attract independent, self-driven people, I would have to project the same.

Thankfully, I have attracted quite a few Leaders in the last few months, which goes to show that, by learning and then applying what you learn, you will achieve the results you were after, and attract the people who are ready to go to work!

3. Pay-Per-Click. Done right, pay-per-click can be an extremely powerful method of advertising, in some cases, providing instant results. However, PPC must be done carefully and strategically, or else you can lose a lot of money fast. I know, because I lost $500 in less than two weeks in my first attempt at google adwords. You must make sure that you set your pay per click at a cost that will provide a good return on investment. Here’s an example, it wouldn’t make financial sense to bid a dollar per click on a product that you sell for $49.00 and only makes you 30 % Commission. You would have to have like 1 our of 20 people buy the product to justify the expense. Forget it. So if you have lets say, a ticket item of $200.00 you can easily bid $1.00 per click because it usually takes 100 clicks to get 2 people to buy the program. and at $200.00, you will still make $300 profit. Do the same thing with a $49.00 product for which you only earn $39 bucks, and…well….you do the math.

4. Video Marketing: This is how I made my “claim to fame”. I did video marketing and made thousands upon thousands of dollars doing it, but you gotta do it right. There are two kinds of videos I used to get traffic and to brand myself: Traffic Videos and Content Videos. Traffic Videos consisted of just 1 or 2 minute quick little videos with keywords and descriptions whose sole purpose was to drive traffic to my sites. A Content Video will run about 5 minutes or a little more, and they are usually used to teach someone a lesson, share valuable information, or do a screen capture tutorial of some sort. Video is super powerful, period.

5. Last but not least. there is Forum Marketing. This is also free, and is really a microcosm representation of what Networking is really about. It entails going to forums and joining in the conversation by way of adding valuable input to existing conversation threads. The cool thing about forum marketing is that you get to meet and network with new people, and you utilize the signature line to point to your primary opportunity. Now, you have been warned, don’t jump in just to blabber about your opportunity. Respond to a post with real substance. Or start a thread that adds value to the community, poses a question perhaps, or just comment about things that interest you that pertain to the genre of the forum.

There are a million ways to skin a cat (I know that’s gross..it’s just a saying!) but the truth of the matter is, is that at the end of the day, what matters is you want to get as many people to visit your website as possible and then it simply comes down to a numbers game. You can expect that out of ever 100 people that opt-in to your list, 3 will buy.
