I’m sure you remember the childhood story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Remember how Papa Bears bed was too hard, Mama Bears were too soft, and baby bear’s was “just right”, well, if GoldiLocks were reading this review, she would probably agree that the Independent Profit Center is “just right”.

Why?

Well, let’s consider a few things. I was under the mentorship of an mlm industry legend who once told me, that affordability is one of the keys to marketing success. A Product had to be so affordable (and full of value) that anyone could get in.

There are a group of marketers, or people I should say, who are considered to be the 27 percenters. Who fits the profile of a 27 percenter?

People who are not utterly “slick”. People who have a good work ethic and are willing to do what is necessary to succeed. People who are not gurus. They are basically “Salt of the earth” people. Who want to make a few extra thousand a month.

So lets say, for example, you are writing a review on a particular business opportunity, make sure to use the business opportunity name in your keywords, in your title and in the body of the article to make sure that your article is relevent enough to appear in the search engine results when people are looking for reviews on that particular online business.

2. Press Releases: Much Like Article Marketing, Press releases are also a great way to get the word out about your business. Not only are the a great way to brand your busines, but it is the fastest, easiest way to brand yourself online. Just write a few Press Resleases about yourself, and start getting your name out there. People will want to know who they are dealing with, and they WILL google your name. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE! I have a counter that monitors my traffic, and my name is googled all the time, crazy I know!

There are several free press release sites out there that are completely free. At first I thought Press Releases were reserved for news media! But I quickly found out it’s a great way to market your business online as well. Why? Because content is King, and people are always searching for information online. This is why Article Marketing and Press Releases are so powerful. They are viral and they satisfy the hunger for people who are searching for information.

3. Pay-Per-Click. Done right, pay-per-click can be an extremely powerful method of advertising, in some cases, providing instant results. However, PPC must be done carefully and strategically, or else you can lose a lot of money fast. I know, because I lost $500 in less than two weeks in my first attempt at google adwords. You must make sure that you set your pay per click at a cost that will provide a good return on investment. Here’s an example, it wouldn’t make financial sense to bid a dollar per click on a product that you sell for $49.00 and only makes you 30 % Commission. You would have to have like 1 our of 20 people buy the product to justify the expense. Forget it. So if you have lets say, a ticket item of $200.00 you can easily bid $1.00 per click because it usually takes 100 clicks to get 2 people to buy the program. and at $200.00, you will still make $300 profit. Do the same thing with a $49.00 product for which you only earn $39 bucks, and…well….you do the math.

4. Video Marketing: This is how I made my “claim to fame”. I did video marketing and made thousands upon thousands of dollars doing it, but you gotta do it right. There are two kinds of videos I used to get traffic and to brand myself: Traffic Videos and Content Videos. Traffic Videos consisted of just 1 or 2 minute quick little videos with keywords and descriptions whose sole purpose was to drive traffic to my sites. A Content Video will run about 5 minutes or a little more, and they are usually used to teach someone a lesson, share valuable information, or do a screen capture tutorial of some sort. Video is super powerful, period.

5. Last but not least. there is Forum Marketing. This is also free, and is really a microcosm representation of what Networking is really about. It entails going to forums and joining in the conversation by way of adding valuable input to existing conversation threads. The cool thing about forum marketing is that you get to meet and network with new people, and you utilize the signature line to point to your primary opportunity. Now, you have been warned, don’t jump in just to blabber about your opportunity. Respond to a post with real substance. Or start a thread that adds value to the community, poses a question perhaps, or just comment about things that interest you that pertain to the genre of the forum.

There are a million ways to skin a cat (I know that’s gross..it’s just a saying!) but the truth of the matter is, is that at the end of the day, what matters is you want to get as many people to visit your website as possible and then it simply comes down to a numbers game. You can expect that out of ever 100 people that opt-in to your list, 3 will buy.

It’s all over the papers, the News and every other media outlet known to man. The BIG RECESSION. Houses are foreclosing, big financial institutions are collapsing and people are losing their Jobs.

Now I’m a firm believer of creating your own reality (perception is reality) and you can turn a blind eye and refuse to see what is looming before us, but the problem is that if the masses believe it, it becomes the predominant consciousness of the planet.

We make it even more real.

With that said, anyone who is determined and resourceful, will find a way to make money, even if they have lost their job. As a matter of fact, people who have lost their jobs can see this as a blessing in disguise.

I remember, back in the day, when I was 22 I was working for an SOB Boss at a Construction Firm. I was the front desk receptionist at the time. This man was the meanest, tightwad I’d ever met. So much so I suffered from stomach problems when I was working for him. Just the sight of him made me nervous sometimes because I didnt’ know if he was going to lash out or what! But I desperately needed the job, or so I thought.

During the time I was employed by him, I had purchased my first car all by myself. And 2 days later, I was called into his office and I was fired.

At first, I was freaked out. What was I going to do? I had just bought my car and I needed to pay my rent. Well long story short, I had 2 weeks off, which I used to hang out at the beach, and my next employer contacted me, letting me know he was hunting me down after he found out I was fired. I ended up accepting the position he offered, making more money, and had better hours. Oh yeah, and my stomach problems disappeared.  It was a blessing in disguise.

Maybe back in the day of Amway and selling vacuum cleaners door to door, or going to Tupperware parties, wasn’t really the most practical thing to do. I know I hate selling, so parties and meetings are definitely not my thing. And I completely ignored them and went on my way, and took my classes. NOTHING was going to keep me from staying home with my baby, and this seemed to be the answer to my prayers.

Well, after I started making an average of $950 a week, which back then was great money, and from home, nonetheless, they both had to eat their words.

There are so many benefits to starting an at home business, that to stay in a job where you can get fired is just as big as a risk as working from home.

As a matter of fact, I see it as a bigger risk because you just NEVER know when you will get fired. When you working for yourself, like with Network Marketing, for example, you will get paid on your efforts. You’re scouring the internet for a network marketing business opportunity. It’s like one big ball of confusion. I can compare trying to find the right network marketing business opportunity on the internet, much like a blurry dream, walking aimlessly down a long lonely road, with a bunch of flashy bill boards trying to get your attention.

“Join My Business, you’ll make a Gazillion dollars!” You scratch your head, and continue wandering. “Just Drive Traffic, and we’ll Close your sales for you!”, hmmm that sounds pretty tempting, but does it really work that way?

You continue to click, click, click yourself into  oblivion and a sea of confusion. Which way do I go????

Hey, been there, done that.  The question you should be asking yourself is, can marketing truly be 100% Automated? Is it truly something as simple as just sending traffic to my replicated site, and having my sales closed for me?

In relation to this, I must tell a quick little story. In my higher ticket, 2 tier affiliate bilingual program, there was a guy, who shall remain nameless. This guy bought into the opportunity because part of the claim was that all you had to do was drive traffic and the professional closers would close the sales for you. So Mr X went on to buy a bunch of “JUNK” traffic, from these traffic exchange places, and send random traffic to his replicated website.

Do I have to tell you how this went?

Needless to say, the guy was boiling mad and labeled the whole opportunity as a scam because he was naive enough to really think that the marketing process is fully automated. I was sitting at the sidelines watching him post disgruntled messages of hate and feelings of betrayal by the company because he couldn’t land a sale, sending blind traffic to a replicated website where the ticket item was over $1200.

What is the lesson to be learned from Mr. X?

Marketing Systems can be fully automated but Marketing itself can’t be.

Well, what’s the difference you ask?

Simply put, a marketing system is what funnels people through, and then you backend other products, services or your main opportunity to them. While they are “travelling” through the marketing funnel, you are establishing and building relationships while also generating front end income through the sale of solution based products. Generally speaking, they will be products that teach people how to market and how to drive traffic to their sites.

This system can be automated simply because you are not necessarily building a team with the people who go through this funnel. This systems purpose is to

A. Generate front end income for the purpose of being able to continue to advertise, and

B. To provide training materials to people within or outside of your primary business.

If the outcome is that they eventually join your business, that’s just icing on the cake!

When you are building a Team, you cannot expect to simply drive traffic to a website, have people closed, and never speak to them again. You must develop a relationship with them if you want to develop synergy within the team, and also inspire them to continue building the business. Many teams suffer from attrition, simply because there is no emotional connection in the team. If there is no emotional connection, people are more likely to quit.

So here are 3 Cruicial Network Marketing Tips: Things you should never automate in your business.

1. Lead Generation: You should be generating your own leads. Not doing this will multiply your workload. Buying leads is a shot in the dark. Make sure you have control of lead generation, period.

2. Prospecting: How you interact with your prospects will build the foundation of trust between you and your team. This is something you must nurture and grow yourself. Handing this off to someone else, could prove detrimental to the growth of your organization. (Trust me, I made this mistake once. You are essentially giving your power away to someone else, and then your team will either drop off, or roll up to them)

3. Your Marketing Training: As tempting as it is to outsource marketing training, make sure you do this yourself. You want to create that bond in your team, you want to be the expert, you want to be seen as the leader and you want to develop the tight knit relationships needed to hold your team together. Do NOT let anyone else do this. (Again, been there done that, my downline started to fall apart) TRAIN YOUR team yourself!!

Remember these things and don’t let anyone brainwash you into believing that they can give you a quick fix to growing your business. In the long run, it will backfire and you jeopardize the growth of your team.

I’ll tell you, if you are on the outside looking in, there’s a good possibility that MLM and Network Marketing appear to be a SCAM. I can see how the average person can think that. Hmmmm, I can make  upwards of $1,000 per day, I have people under me who pay me a part of their commission, I only have to put in about 20 hours a week of work, and I’d never have to work for someone else again.

Well, of course it’s the Shock of the year if you’ve been conditioned to work 9-5. make an average of $40 grand a year, and hopefully get some sort of social security when you retire at 65. Geez!!

Think about it, did anyone, or any teacher tell you about MLM or Network Marketing as kid in School? Chances are, the answer to that question is a resounding “NOPE”.  Anything that is outside of what the “mainstream” does, is, unfortunately, disregarded and labeled as a Scam.

Are there MLM Network Marketing Scams out there? Absolutely, but just like anything else in life, it is ones responsibility to do their due diligence. I mean, think about it, how many times do people accept the “perfect “DREAM” Job, and it turns out not to be what they expected. You don’t hear people calling it a scam, they just go out and look for another Job.

And speaking of jobs, if  you want to talk about Scams, how about working for someone else for the rest of your natural life, paying upwards of $50,000 for a college education, that will maybe land you a job that pays around $35,000 annually, and then promise you a nice retirement, to only get shafted of your pension by having it slashed by 25%. Now that, my friends, is a scam. I know because it happened to my Dad. He was a faithful employee for 25 years for a MEGA Corporation, and on the day he retired he got a handshake, a thank you, and a cut in his pension. Ahhhh, the good ‘ol american dream.

People must wake up to the reality. People need to start thinking for themselves and realize that just because we are told something, it doesn’t make it true. You have the ability to create your own reality. And believe me, if you don’t do it for yourself, someone else will do it for you.

MLM and Network Marketing is a wonderful industry. It’s one of the only industries that you can truly leverage the efforts of others yet still create an environment of team support and leadership while everyone strives for the ultimate goal of wealth and time freedom. A J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) does not allow for these benefits.

One of the biggest problems I see is that people are so wrapped up in the illusion of “Security”.  They feel that only a paycheck is “secure”. Newsflash, have you ever heard of anyone who has worked faithfully for a company for 16 years, only to be fired with no notice, no severance, and no other real skills?

This is reality.

MLM Network Marketing allows you to have just about anything you want, as long as you are willing to take the chance. People literally can lift the ceiling on their incomes and make income on what they truly are worth, not just for the exchange in hours that they put in. If you are settling for a job, or have tried Network Marketing and haven’t given it your all, you are selling yourself short.

There is no denying it, if you’re in network marketing, or you are currently looking at it seriously as a way to generate more income, you’re probably entertaining the following thoughts:

1. How much Will I get paid?

2. When will I get paid?

Now of course, at first glance, these questions appear to be extremely logical and reasonable. But the “sponsoring” thoughts behind these questions is, is this going to be a “sure” or “secure thing”.  That’s really what’s behinds peoples thoughts. So when they get into network marketing and things don’t start moving fast enough, (ie. I need my paycheck by Friday) they turn around and quit and start looking for another “Job”, or other network opportunity hoping things will be different and claiming that they were scammed.

Think about it. I remember when I was working construction back in the day, when I was 19. I hated my first job, more like my boss, with a passion. Mind you, I was working inside in an interior contractors office, and that man was so mean to the employees, he just made me want to quit. But I desperately needed the money because I was already living on my own at the time, and on South Beach, none the less, and I had just bought my first car on my own. So there were alot of things hanging by a thread for me.

Needless to say, I got my “walking” papers right after I had bought my car and I was worried about what I was going to do. But as my luck would have it, another opportunity arose, and another Contractor ended up looking for me, hiring me and I ended up making even more money.

The point here, however is, that I had no cushion in the background. I couldn’t fiddle around, I had to step it up and start networking so that I could get a job and get paid in time to make my next car payment and rent payment.  Getting another Job, it was “secure”. I would have never dreamed of starting a business under those circumstances because I needed to get paid, yesterday! (and most people join opportunities with that exact mindset!)

And if you back it up for a second, losing my first job, I didn’t really see that coming. So it just goes to prove that “nothing” is secure, not even a job. Whether it’s a job or a network marketing opportunity, nothing in life is secure.

The only security there is, is in your Actions.

You can be certain that if you continue to take proactive actions towards your network marketing business, something is bound to flourish, the catch is, it won’t happen in your time, or by “friday”.

Too many people enter this industry with an “employee” mentality. And who can blame them. They are only looking for what they already know and feel comfortable with.

Think about it, haven’t you ever had a friend, who, no matter how many times he or she had a bad experience with a certain type of mate, they end up dating the same kind of person over and over again??

It’s because we are creatures of habit, and we are looking for predictability  and security, it’s in our nature.

So if you are considering a network marketing opportunity, see it for what it is. It is an “opportunity” (a good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success) Nothing in the definition of opportunity says, guaranteed.

It is completely up to you.

To better your odds, align yourself with the people who are already in the industry, building their businesses, and can help you shave off time to your learning curve. That way you will get to where you want to go much much faster.

And one more thing, the beauty of network marketing, is that, unlike a job, you will get paid exponentially for your efforts. Potentially there, is no ceiling on your income. 2. Article Marketing. Article Marketing is very powerful. Although it can be a time consuming task, once your content is out there. It becomes viral, and it will continue to work for you 24/7 365 days a week. Simply write articles that have to do with your products, and the benefits, or case studies or personal stories about what your products have done for you or other people. Make it “keyword” rich, and you are as good as gold.

3. Video Marketing: There is nothing more powerful than video marketing, in my personal opinion. But you must take a conservative approach to doing it. In other words, you can’t just go out there and start pitching people on video. You must offer VALUE by way of information or coaching and training, and then include links in the description of your videos for people to contact you.

4. Pay Per Click Advertising: Want instant Results? Pay Per click advertising is surely the way to go. But doing it the wrong way can be DISASTROUS. I personally lost $500 in less than two weeks when I first tried it. Thanks to educating myself and learning from some of the most influential marketers on the internet, pay per click is no longer an issue for me, as a matter of fact, it has been profitable. But you have to know what you’re doing. Do it right, and you can get instant results and red hot leads for your Monavie Business.

5. Forum Marketing – Forum Marketing is so laser targeted, that this is a bonafide way to generate free leads and traffic to your site. This is as simple as finding a forum that is geared towards your niche, which could be health or weight loss, for example, and start posting away. Get involved in the conversation. Add Valuable info to the forum. Don’t just chime in for the sake of getting notice. Really add value, and then you can post links to your website. People are nosey, and you can bet they will click on them.

6. Twitter: This one falls under Social Networking, but it is so incredibly powerful that I placed it in it’s own category. Twitter is what is called a “Micro-Blogging” site. It’s a Micro-Blog because you are only allowed to write up to 140 characters per post. So you have to make it short, to the point, and make sure it’s either valuable, or make it a little personal. Why? Because the internet’s very nature, breeds suspicion. People want to know they are doing business with a “real person” and not a scammer. So updating with some personal stuff gives your potential lead or others some insight into your life and who you are and inspires trust. This is super important. Make sure to add a personal photo of yourself and not your company logo. People want to do business with people not their company.

Keep this in mind, my Monavie friend, that when you purchase leads, they are more than likely “Generic Biz Op” Leads. They are not necessarily interested in any particular business and are more than likely just shopping around for information. Why spend $1-$5 or more on someone who may not even have any interest in the nutritional field whatsoever!

With a last name like “Figueroa” chances out you have already figured out that I am Bilingual. Yep, I’m Cuban American, born in Miami, USA. My parents are Cubans who immigrated to this country in 1963 and my husband came here as a little 8 year old boy from Cuba, in 1980. The problem was I didn’t want to have to re-design and translate the entire site into spanish, whew, that would take a lot of time and energy, so I did the next best thing.  I placed a Translation script into my Website so that with one click of a button, a new window would open up and reveal the site completely translated into Spanish, or any of the other languages available for translation.

The only thing it will not translate are IMAGES. So if you have any text on your website or blog that are really images, of course, it will not translate. It will only translate actual writing so keep this in mind when you plug the script into your site.

The above World Lingo Translation Code is customized for the Blogger Template. Since I have added translation to every page on my weblog, I have used wl_url=<$BlogItemPermalinkUrl$> in the URL. You will need to change this if your blog is hosted on another service like Typepad or Wordpress.

The <$BlogItemPermalinkUrl$> tag should be wrapped inside the <Blogger> tags.
