There is no doubt about it, whether you choose to engage in Free advertising strategies such as video marketing, or social networking, or paid advertising such as pay per click or solo ads…undoubtedly, what you don’t spend in Time, you spend in Money, and what you don’t spend in Money, you definitely spend in Time.

This is why it’s so important to have several pillars of advertising when you are promoting your network marketing or mlm opportunity.

I’ve seen it time and time again, where people refuse to spend a dime in advertising because they want to only use free strategies to promote their mlm.

But is this a wise move?

Hey, I used to be one of those people. I only depended on my videos and my myspace profile to generate free leads and traffic for my business, with great success, I might add,  but the downfall of this strategy is that unless you have an amazing, contagious and fabulous personality, free methods can take alot of time to take effect.

Realistically, you can expect to see results with this method within 30-60-90 days…if not longer and if you are trying to build a duplicable downline, depending only on Free methods, could prove to keep the growth of your organization stagnant.

On the other hand, there are paid methods of advertising, that if approached wisely and with a definite plan or 1-2-3 step blueprint, you can see results almost overnight, and if you are using a funded proposal you will not have to worry about spending the money up front, because the funded proposal in network marketing is designed to generate income up front, through the sales of educational materials or training tools, to create profits that can be put back into your advertising budget while collecting a database of targeted leads. So at worst, you break even, but atleast you are advertising and getting results and building your database of quality leads.

Ideally, you should have atleast 5 different methods of advertising because if one is slow, another will still work. Just like with Multiple streams of income. You want to have several so that when one is slower, or you are building one, the other is still producing results.

WARNING: As with everything, there is a strategy behind all these different forms of advertising, and not knowing what to do can cost you money, time and frustration.
