The 5 Realities of "Network Marketing"

If you’re thinking about getting into getting into network marketing, just to make some great money…think again!

Making the Decision to go into Business, which is what Network Marketing is, is nothing to sneeze at.

It takes time, work, dedication, discipline and Money.

Is success available to everyone that tries it? Absolutely..

But not everyone will find it easy, and it’s more challenging than you think.

 

Here are 5 Discoveries I have personally made in Network Marketing and will share them with you!

1. Network Marketing is a “Relationship” Business. There are no two ways about it. It’s consists of groups of individuals coming together towards the same purpose, to achieve similar goals, Financial Freedom for all, being one of them. If you are a person who has difficulties building relationships with people, or are more of a “loner” type, you have two options when it comes to Network Marketing.  I’ll reveal the one that worked for me. Before we are business people, we are people! With different backgrounds, upbringings, and cultures. When I was growing up, I grew up in a family where we were not very close. So maintaning relationships for me has, at times, been a little challenging. I absolutely LOVE people, and love to help them, but at some point, I felt myself becoming distant and aloof. Which is no surprise, as it was the “theme” as a kid. So what did I do? I continued with Personal Development, educating myself, reading books and understanding that it was simply something I could take control of and change. Suffice it to say, I am steadily building a healthy downline in one of my businesses, and have created stellar relationships in my primary business.  So consider, if you have ever “struggled” or “failed” in MLM before, something as simple as this same scenario could be what’s holding you back!

2. Network Marketing is for Leaders. Let’s face it, in network marketing, or mult-level, the bottom line is that you want to build an organization in order to leverage your time and efforts. Imagine personally signing up 10 people and then all those 10 signing up 10 and continuing that duplication down to infinity, without YOU even have to really try…that’s awesome! But guess what…in order to attract that kind of a downline, you must stand up to leadership. And what exactly is leadership? Well mainly, the ability to Influence others, and then inspire them and empower them to succeed. And Leaders possess qualities, or better said, develop them, that “bench warmers” never attempt to acquire.

Here are just Some of the Qualities of a Great Leader:

1. The Leader must have a dream larger than those he/she leads.
2. The Leader must have an attitude superior to those he/she leads.
3. The Leader is responsible and admits when he/she has made a mistake.
4. The Leader is a decision maker.
5. The Leader puts those he/she leads first.
6. The Leader sets the example by being in the front of the pack.
7. The Leader displays a commitment to integrity and character.
8. The Leader strives for excellence in all things.
9. The Leader displays a commitment to personal growth.
10. The Leader has the highest level of persistence and determination.
Do you posess any of these qualities? And if so…How Strong are they??

3. Your Network Marketing venture is an Actual BUSINESS. A great deal of people get into network marketing and then end up treating it more like a hobby, instead of a business. Think about it, the shop owner who owns a brick and mortar store, has a daily method of operation in order to run his shop. Running a network marketing business is no different. You need to have a game plan, some sort of methodology, to accomplish the daily tasks to grow your business.

4. Discipline & Action are Key. Hands down, you must have these two in place in order to get results. You must be self motivated, committed, and take massive action. One of the beauties of network marketing, however, is that if you are aligned with a great Team, you have the advantage of a “built-in” Mastermind! You have the support, ideas, and energy of other like-minded individuals to feed off of. And that is such an empowering benefit to being in Network Marketing. You are surrounded by people who want nothing more than to see you Succeed, because your success rolls right back up!

5. Money. You’ve heard it a million times, “you gotta have money, to make money” and yes, that is certainly true. Without Cashflow, any business will find itself facing inevitable Doom. If  you have no money for some advertising or training, or for purchasing tools…you may consider applying for a job. Seriously, many people get in thinking that they will build millions with $50.00. And that is not the right mindset to have. You can’t go in to network marketing thinking “how Fast” Can I make money, you’ve got to think more like, “how much money can I ultimately make”.  The 2nd perspective is more “Big Picture” than the first which is, “quick, pay me now!” It goes back up to “Building Relationships” and that takes time. Of course, there are quicker ways to build a healthy downline, and you can place over 400 Reps in a realistc 60 days or less, if you use the “right system” to make that happen.
With the Right attitiude, the right information, and for the right reasons, anyone who truly desires to be succesful in network marketing, absolutely can. If you begin with personal development and the right system, you can build a huge downline faster than you ever imagined!
