They fill themselves up with anticipation for the windfall

Then a month later after they go through a few trails and
try a few things unsuccessfully they say . . . “Why isn’t
this working?”

Then the next month when they put in half the effort they
put in their first month and nothing happens again they quit
and say they were scammed.

My question to you is . . . were they scammed?

You see, before you start any Network Marketing business you
have to do a little bit more homework than just look at the
compensation plan and the testimonials. You have to really
research what you are about to get yourself into.
What type of research do you have to do? What questions
should you ask?

Here they are:
” How long has the company been around?
” What is the product?
” Is the product unique?
” Does the product have mass appeal?
” Is the product a front runner in an emerging market?
” Can you become passionate about the product?
” Does the business have a powerful marketing system in
place?
” Who are the successful people in this business?
” What are the successful people doing to create that
success?
” Is the product something that the majority of the public
can afford?
” Am I personally financial stable enough to start a new
business?
” What type of a monthly marketing budget will I have to set
aside to be successful?
” What are the conversion statistics for the marketing
process?
” Is the business truly duplicable?
” What would be my break even point?
” Is there a way to make money quickly with this business or
is there a way that I can create a quick income in
marketing
this business?
” Etc.

You see it’s not just the opportunity that has to be
correct. You TOO have to be correct for the opportunity and
you have to be in a financial position to take advantage of
the opportunity at hand.

Way too many times I see people joining my business that
jump in on a hope and a dream.

They have barely enough money to pay for there monthly
membership commitment and yet they still want to know the
fastest way to grow their business for FREE.

When people get caught up in the emotion of opening the
possibility for more in their life sometimes they don’t
think clearly.

They think if they can just get themselves in
they will get rich.

It’s not just about getting yourself in.

It’s about getting yourself in and putting yourself in a
position to be able to fully maximize the opportunity at
hand.

I get asked the following WRONG question all the time.

“How long until I make money?”

It’s not about how long until you make money it’s about what
you have to do to make money.

The truth is you could put yourself in a profitable
situation tomorrow or today, but it would take resources and
a good deal of learning to know how to do it.

The truth is, the fast way is never the FREE way. It’s
either going to take you a good deal of money to put
yourself in a profitable position or a good deal of
education and leverage, and most of the time both.

There is no luck factor.

You don’t earn money until you are worth of the income you
produce. As the great Earl Nightingale always says “You have
to be worth more than you are getting paid for you’re income
to grow.”

This is the natural state of all things and it’s not going
to change. In order for your income to grow you must grow.

You know. I’ve been thinking about this one for a while.

Hey, not everybody is made for marketing on video. I mean, even when I first started in network marketing and began using video as a way to get Free leads and traffic to my site in July of 2007 (Happy Anniversary to me:) )…I was really apprehensive about doing video.

I was shy, nervous…I was so worried about how I would look on video..what other people would think about me..

And then one day…

I thought to myself…

Screw it..

You gotta face your fears in order to get over them, and that’s exactly what I did.

I got an idea in my head, grabbed my camera, and ran out to the sandbox and did my most famous and profitable video EVER.

BUT,

Not everyone is an extrovert, not everyone is cut out to do video…That just happens to be ONE of my strengths.

So what is a marketer to do?

First of all, don’t sweat it..

There is nothing wrong with you if you don’t want to do video.

It’s just not YOUR thing.

There are still a ton of other ways to get Free Leads and traffic to your website, that don’t require you to do video.

Although, by far, in MY personal experience, video has been one of the most Powerful tools I’ve used to generate business…

There are different strokes for different folks, and here are a few that I personally suggest.

1. Blogging – You can definitley draw a crowd by blogging. Some of the Highest profile Marketers out there who break the bank with their writing skills are bloggers, and they have never done a video in their life. But you have to be able to write valuable content, AND you have to be consistent about it..

People visit blogs, and will continue to come back if the content is useful and if it is updated constantly, so if you choose this medium, you gotta stick with it.

The cool thing about blogging is that you can also repurpose your blog posts by submitting them to Ezine Article sites.

It’s just a matter of time till you develop a Fan Base of hungry readers, who will come back to your site over and over again to see what you’ve done next.

2. Ezine Articles – Same idea as blogging but it’s more “Topic” Specific.  Whereas a Blog is your own site…an Ezine Article Site is a compilation of all kinds of topics and categories that individual writers have submitted articles to. So I would take the same idea of the blog and re-purpose your Ezine Articles and copy and paste them to your own blog. That way you can grab one good piece of content, and use it over and over again.

3. Google Adwords – This little one here, lost me $500 bucks in less than two weeks, but the reason that was is because I had no idea what I was doing. It’s kinda like playing black jack in Vegas, if you don’t know what you are doing..the house has the better odds.

So what do you do?

Become a better “Black-Jack” Player..or Google Adwords User!

Remember, you never FAIL at something unless you QUIT.

And I was definitely open to using google adwords again. I just was going to be better informed and trained on it this time because it can be  a highly profitable way to advertise your site, as long as you are testing your campaigns, got the right keywords, are targeting the right market, and have a product that will return a high investment to cancel out the money you spend on placing google Adwords Ads.
