I bet there is a really good chance that no one has ever asked you this question before.
Have you ever even thought about it?
Do you even know what the ‘Production Value’ of your Downline is?
If you are a network marketer especially if you are building your business online, you need to understand what this means because you are more than likely leaving lots of money on the table that you could easily earn for yourself if you follow certain steps to make sure this revenue goes into Your Pockets.
If you look up ‘production value’ on google, you will get alot of cinematic terms and definitions of this.
But in MLM, simply put is, when your Downline is purchasing items that will help them build their business and help them producing in their business, are you making a cut from these essentials your downline needs to purchase in order to build their business?
Let’s break this down further.
When your downline needs to generate leads or buy them – Are you Earning?
When your downline needs marketing training – Are you Earning?
When your downline needs mentorship or Leadership training – Are you Earning?
When your downline needs hosting for their websites – Are you Earning?
I could go on and on.
Now, if you step back and look for a moment, your network marketing company IS earning from
the production Value of the entire company organization, from top earning rep to the brand new sign-up.
Let’s see where this happens.
When you Sign up for your Network Marketing Opportunity – Your Company Earns.
When you set up your company website and pay the monthly dues – Your Company Earns.
When your Company holds their yearly convention, and you purchase the tickets – Your Company is Earning.
When you needs leads (for the exception of my primary which gives reps customer leads, but I digress <wink>) – Your Company sells them to you and Yes, you guessed it, Your Company Earns.
When you purchase Marketing Materials such as Presentation DVD’s, Logo Wear, Business Cards – Your Company Earns!
So where do you sit in the ‘Earning’ Equation?
Most Network Marketers are sitting on the wrong side of the ‘cash register’.
This is what is so incredibly powerful about acquiring Knowledge and turning things around so that you are profiting fromthe production value of your own downline.
And presently, with the power of the Internet and Technology, automating this process is easier than ever.
If you currently have more money going out, than coming in, then you need to pay special attention to what I’m about to write.
Where you Should Be Making Money from Your Downline
In order to begin turning the table around in your favor, you need to begin first by having a major Mindset Shift.
You need to start seeing your Network Marketing business as a ‘Stream of income’ in your Entire Business as a whole,and not just as a Rep for your company.
See Figure Below:
Listen, I love my company too, and am having success in the company, but if you open your eyes (and mind) wide enough, there is a ton of opportunity for you to turn your 1 MLM paycheck into Multiple Checks without any additional effort.
Just imagine if you had a Check coming in for each one of your bills:
- Pay your Light Bill
- to Pay your Car Note
- To pay your Rent/Mortgage
Etc Etc.
You have Multiple Bills and Expenses, why shouldn’t you also have multiple Checks and streams of income?
Most mlm distributors simply Spend their way out of business and they are not recruiting fast enough in order to cover their costs.
So where is the real money at?
The Money in Network Marketing, aside from the distribution of products and sponsoring of new reps, will always, andforever be in…
-Tools & Training and Lead Generation
The Lifeblood of your Network Marketing Business is, and forever will be, LEADS.
Without Leads, you simply do not have a business.
But traditionally, Network Marketers have been directed to purchasing business opportunity leads, which would ideally be a GREAT solution.
Only problem is..
If you’ve ever purchased opportunity leads, ( like I have!) you’ve got to get through 80 % of the dead broke, untargeted, worst prospects for your business, before you can find, IF you are good enough on the phone, a couple of decent prospects for your business.
And even then, I bet you ended up having to purchase Training programs just to teach you how to work the phonesproperly, and I would further bet that your own MLM Company sells you this type of training!
(Am I Right? [or am I right])?
Well what if YOU could fill the needs of your own downline and provide them with
- Training
- Tools
- Hosting for their websites
- Lead Generation Tools and Websites?
- Autoresponders
- Blogs/ Websites – Etc…
You could be generating some SERIOUS Cashflow before anyone even makes a dime or signs up a new distributor.
And why not?
If your downline does not get the training from you or your company, believe me, they will get it SOMEWHERE!!
So How can You put a system in place to begin earning from the Production Value of Your Downline?
Here are a couple of tips that you can put into place immediately, keep in mind however, 1 is more duplicable than the other.
Tip #1
You can create a PDF that has Marketing Training and Links to tools and training like Autoresponders, Hosting for Blogs, Resources for putting up Websites, (Like Lead Capture Pages) so that your downline can learn how to generate leads online and market their business.
The disadvantage of this method is that it is cumbersome, in that, most people will not sit down and take the time towrite an ebook, and most don’t have the marketing experience anyway, to build enough content to get their teams off the ground. And You will have to teach MOST people how to create a PDF anyway, because many don’t even knowwhat it is!
Tip #2
You can ‘rent’ a system that is already created and put in place for this purpose specifically.
A Monthly fee is involved,however, as you recommend the same system to your team to help them learn how to generate leads, you will earn affiliate commissions and of course, multiple streams of income, that willl more than cover the costs to ‘rent’ the system and will actually help you put more money in your pocket on the front end.
The other benefit of using a system to do this is that now you have opened up a huge opportunity to help other struggling network marketers to also get the leads, tools and training they need to make a profit in their network marketing business. (This is also referred to as a funded proposal, when you are targeting other network marketers)
I hope that this article has helped you open your eyes to the possibilities of income that are available to you as you build your network marketing business.
If you begin to look at your Business as a WHOLE as shown on the Sample Pie Graph above, you will see all the opportunities you are currently Missing out on to make additional money in your business.
There is no need to re-invent the wheel to make this happen.
There are several options you have to begin earning on the production value of your downline because if you don’t, someone else will!
